Our Services
At Stepping Stones Behavioral Services, we specialize in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children and adolescents. Our ABA therapy programs are designed to commence during infancy or early childhood, typically starting between 18 months to 3 years of age, or even earlier if developmental concerns arise.
Early intervention initiatives are crafted to address various developmental delays, communication deficits, social skills challenges, and behavioral issues in young children. We extend our services to encompass school-age children, including preschoolers, elementary school students, and adolescents.
For preschoolers and elementary school students, our interventions may focus on enhancing academic skills, social skills, behavioral management, communication abilities, and fostering independent living skills. These efforts are geared towards promoting success in educational environments and facilitating positive social interactions.
Our services also cater to adolescents and teenagers in high school, where interventions aim to facilitate the transition to adulthood. We focus on developing vocational skills, refining social competencies, and nurturing independence in daily living activities. Our comprehensive approach ensures that children and adolescents receive the support they need to succeed at every stage of development.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy
We offer Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy as a scientifically supported approach to help individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental needs. Our highly trained therapists use techniques based on learning principles to promote social, communication and daily living skills while reducing problem behaviors.
Through a personalized and compassionate approach, we are committed to helping each individual reach their full potential and improve their quality of life.
Parent Training & Advocacy
At Stepping Stones Behavioral Services, we not only focus on the well-being of children, but also on empowering parents. Our Parent Training & Advocacy program offers practical tools and emotional support for parents to become effective advocates for their children.
Through one-on-one sessions, we work together to strengthen parenting skills, better understand each child's individual needs, and advocate for the resources and services necessary for their success. We are committed to walking alongside you every step of this journey, providing the support and guidance needed to build a bright future for your family.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Stepping Stones Behavioral Services
At Stepping Stones Behavioral Services, we believe that every individual deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. Our mission to help children reach their fullest potential is deeply rooted in principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). We understand that creating a truly inclusive environment requires ongoing reflection, action, and accountability. We recognize that families, children, and team members come from a variety of cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, and we are committed to honoring those differences in everything we do. Embracing diverse perspectives not only strengthens our services but also fosters a richer, more compassionate workplace and community.
Our approach to DEI is both intentional and evolving. We are actively working to:
- Provide ongoing training and education for our staff focused on cultural responsiveness, anti-bias practices, and inclusive communication.
- Create equitable pathways for career advancement and leadership opportunities within our organization.
- Review and refine our hiring and onboarding processes to attract and retain diverse talent reflective of the communities we serve.
- Ensure that all families feel welcome and respected, regardless of race, ethnicity, language, gender identity, religion, or ability.
- Partner with local organizations to advocate for equitable access to services and reduce disparities in care for underserved populations.
- Promote an organizational culture where staff can safely share their perspectives, experiences, and ideas.
We understand that this work is not one-time or checklist-based—it is a continuous journey. Our commitment to DEI is interwoven into our values, decisions, and everyday practices. By fostering an environment where inclusion is the norm, we aim to build not only a stronger team but also a more just and supportive future for the children and families we serve.
